MTSS Center Coordinator
Jeffrey Ajufo is a Research Associate at the American Institutes for Research, where he serves as the coordinator for the Center of Multi-Tiered System of Supports at AIR. He coordinates and consults training to states, educator preparation programs, and schools/districts that help build their capacity to implement evidence-based practices within MTSS. He also manages the MTSS service line proposals and contracts. Jeffrey brings more than three years’ experience in program evaluation, variance analysis, workforce analysis, and revenue forecasting as a Budget Analyst in Chicago Public Schools, where he managed budgets for the Nutrition, Law, Family and Community Engagement, Local School Council, Law, and Inspector General departments. His other work history includes Management and Budget Consulting analysis for National Resource Network cities at Public Financial Management, and Adjunct Instructor of Sociology at Lone Star College. He holds Masters’ degrees in Public Policy from the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy, and in Sociology from Texas Tech University.
