MTSS Trainer
Diandra Best discovered her passion for equity in education early in her career as an elementary Special Education teacher. With a goal of increasing access for the students she served, Diandra demonstrated dedication to serving diverse learners and educating families on the many facets of Special Education. Through advancing into leadership roles in Special Education, English Learner programming, and management of school-based MTSS programs, Diandra has increased the efficiency and positive outcomes for the academic programs she’s served. Her experience also includes school performance evaluations and Quality Site Reviews with the DC Public Charter School Board (PCSB). Diandra prioritizes integrating systems and frameworks to support inclusion and support for diverse learners. Diandra received her B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Temple University, as well as a M.A. in Special Education from Trinity University. She also received a Certification in Education Policy and Leadership from the Institute for Educational Leadership in Washington, D.C.
