Diandra V. Best, MEd is a Consultant for the MTSS Center. Her primary role includes training and consulting with district stakeholders in MTSS with a focus on establishing evidence-based practices, data analysis protocols, and effective impact measurement. Best also provides coaching to LEAs to support MTSS fidelity of implementation. With over 13 years of experience and passion for supporting diverse student needs, Best has helped school districts nationwide to improve the practices and offerings they provide to their students. Best has successfully implemented MTSS program improvement with both larger districts such as Richmond County School System in Augusta, Georgia, and smaller LEAs in New York City and Philadelphia, PA. Previously, Best served as district-level Director of Student Support Services and a Program Director for a state-wide early intervention program. Her previous experience also includes conducting Quality Site Reviews with the Public Charter School Board (PCSB) in Washington, DC. By providing professional learning and modeling data-based decision-making, Diandra continues to guide district and school teams in integrating systems and frameworks to support a high-quality MTSS and support for diverse learners. Diandra received her Master’s in special education from Trinity University. She also received a Certification in Education Policy and Leadership from the Institute for Educational Leadership in Washington, D.C.
