Linda Brissenden, M.S., Ed.S. is an experienced educator who currently works directly with administrators, teams, and teachers in school districts delivering technical assistance as they implement a needs-based multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) for all students. She has worked with districts’ teams to develop MTSS Guidebooks that provide guidance for systemic implementation. Brissenden has spoken at numerous conferences and conducted teacher training workshops on MTSS and differentiation in multiple venues. Brissenden co-facilitated a Networked Learning Community professional development series on MTSS through the American Institute for Research in 2021. She has served as a coder on an IEP review for a large district, a co-writer, a stakeholder group interviewer on a Gates Foundation national equity project and as a data collector, developing and testing a fidelity tool to better understand and improve implementations of frameworks that integrate academic and behavioral multi-tiered systems of support.
