Donna Sacco, Ph.D., provides technical assistance related to special education, intensive intervention, and educator preparation. She currently leads the English learner technical working group for the National Center on Intensive Intervention, and also provides training and product development support for the center. She also delivers technical assistance to states and educator preparation programs through the CEEDAR Center and PROGRESS Center. For almost twenty years, Dr. Sacco has worked at the national, state, and local levels in special education and English as a Second Language (ESL). Most recently, she was a clinical assistant professor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC). Dr. Sacco also worked as a special educator in Arlington, Virginia for twelve years.
