
Rhode Island Intensive Math Intervention Project
The Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) contracted with AIR to implement its State Systemic Improvement Plan—a requirement under OSEP’s results-driven accountability initiative. Project staff provide ongoing professional learning related to evidence-based mathematics interventions/strategies/practices across the MTSS tiers, with a particular focus on supporting school teams with better using data to intensify mathematics intervention through the data-based individualization (DBI) process. Additionally, AIR supports RIDE with developing training content, cross-office collaborations, and stakeholder engagement. Access project information and resources on the RIDE website.
