Caitlyn Majeika
MTSS Trainer
Caitlyn E. Majeika, Ph.D., researcher at AIR, supports a portfolio of research on special education and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS). Dr. Majeika is a research analyst on the Integrated MTSS Fidelity Rubric project where she provides content expertise to support the development, implementation, and psychometric evaluation of a tool used to measure MTSS within schools. In addition, Dr. Majeika works with the National Center on Intensive Intervention by contributing technical expertise to guide the development and application of standards for reviewing universal screening tools, progress monitoring tools, and interventions. Dr. Majeika also supports the Michigan Preschool Development Grant by contributing to the program evaluation of inclusive early childhood education. Prior to joining AIR, Dr. Majeika was an Assistant Professor of special education at the University of North Texas and a special education teacher in Rhode Island. Dr. Majeika earned her Ph.D. in Special Education at Peabody College of Vanderbilt University, where she also earned an M.Ed. in Special Education and B.S. in Elementary and Special Education. Dr. Majeika is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.
