Thomas M. Flanigan

Thomas M. Flanigan, MS is a Technical Assistance Coach for MTSS Center at American Institutes for Research (AIR), where he currently works with school and district leaders to develop and effective data focused MTSS structures, systems. He has extensive experience with incorporating and implementing aligned tiered systems of support that include positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS), attendance, data based decision making, early warning systems, and  PLC team effectiveness. He has previously been a teacher, principal, and central office administrator. He earned a B.S. and M.S degree from the University of Illinois, an masters degree from Northern Illinois University, and a Superintendent certification from Western Illinois University.
