Sara Evans
Sara Evans, MEd, provides technical assistance and coaching in MTSS and special education. She has extensive experience coaching districts on building sustainable systems that support all students within a MTSS framework, including students with diverse learning needs. She brings unparalleled expertise in the development and implementation of special education services, transition services, future planning, behavioral interventions, and leveraging data-based individualization to deliver specially designed instruction. She has expansive experience providing supporting educators’ skill development in data-based decision making. Prior to joining the MTSS Center, Sara played pivotal roles leading the implementation of MTSS at the district, regional, and statewide levels. Her career encompasses positions as a K-12 special education teacher, Program Specialist, and Director of Student Services. Sara holds a bachelor's degree in Elementary (K-8) and Special Education (Pre K-12) from Northern Arizona University, and a master's in educational leadership from Montana State University.
