Senior MTSS Trainer
Dr. Sarah V. Arden, Ph.D., helps states, districts, and schools build and sustain organization systems to support academic outcomes for students in need of intensive intervention, leadership in special education, and the conditions in which MTSS can be successfully implemented within middle and secondary school settings. Her current work includes leading TA efforts and providing support to multiple states and districts implementing intensive intervention through the National Center on Intensive Intervention and an Investing in Innovation and Improvement grant from the U.S. Department of Education. She also coordinates knowledge development activities including student and family focus groups, policy scans, and success story reports for the PROGRESS Center and supports recruitment efforts for the IES impact evaluation of early MTSS in reading. Previously, Arden was a project coordinator at the Meadows Center for Preventing Educational Risk at the University of Texas at Austin.
