Rebecca Zumeta Edmonds
Rebecca Zumeta Edmonds, Ph.D., provides leadership for the PROGRESS Center and the National Center on Intensive Intervention. Prior to AIR, Dr. Zumeta Edmonds worked for the Washington State Department of Special Education providing TA to support MTSS and alternate assessment implementation. She has also worked on randomized-controlled trials of elementary mathematics interventions, and has accrued extensive experience presenting to researcher, policymaker, and practitioner audiences. She has co-authored over two dozen papers, chapters, and essays on MTSS, mathematics intervention, special education policy, implementation, screening, and progress monitoring assessment. Dr. Zumeta Edmonds recently edited the Essentials of Intensive Intervention.
