Elise Strongin
Elise Strongin, MA, provides technical assistance and consultation to states, districts, and schools on the implementation of MTSS. She has extensive expertise supporting educators and school leadership with the adoption and implementation of curricula, MTSS, and PBIS using evidence-based practices and data-informed decision making. She is passionate about educational equity with a particular focus on literacy. She began her career interning with the Children’s Defense Fund, supporting the organization’s nationwide summer and after-school enrichment program for underserved youth called CDF Freedom Schools. Elise was a classroom teacher for six years and a consultant with Amplify Education, where she led professional learning, coaching, and implementation of Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills (DIBELS). She completed both her BS and Master of Arts in Teaching in Elementary Education from James Madison University.
