Sara Evans, MEd, provides technical assistance and coaching in MTSS and special education. She has extensive experience coaching districts on building sustainable systems that support all students, including students with diverse learning needs. She brings unparalleled expertise in the development and implementation of special education services, transition services, behavioral interventions, and specially designed instruction. Prior to joining the MTSS Center, Sara played pivotal roles leading the implementation of MTSS at district, regional, and statewide levels. Her career encompasses positions as a K-12 special education teacher, Program Specialist, and Director of Student Services. Sara holds a BA in Elementary (K-8) and Special Education (Pre K-12) from Northern Arizona University, and a MA in educational leadership from Montana State University.
