Stacy Hirt
MTSS Trainer
Stacy M. Hirt, Ed.S., provides technical assistance to states and school districts in the areas of MTSS, intensive intervention, and special education. In addition, she serves as a knowledge development researcher for the PROGRESS Center. In this role, she supports policy scans, literature reviews, site visits, and focus groups for stakeholders implementing high-quality educational programming. Stacy also supports research, technical assistance, and dissemination for the CEEDAR Center and National Center on Intensive Intervention. Prior to joining AIR, Stacy was an OSEP-funded Project PRISM interdisciplinary scholar at the University of Missouri-Columbia in the Department of Special Education. Stacy has over 16 years of special education field experience (K-12) serving as a learning specialist and a district-wide behavior specialist.
