Timara Davis, PhD is a Researcher at the American Institutes for Research (AIR). Dr. Davis supports research, evaluation and technical assistance projects that focus on special education, high-leverage practices (HLPs), evidence-based practices, multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) in reading and math, educator preparation, and educator evaluations. She has extensive experience designing and delivering professional learning and coaching to pre-service and in-service, general and special education teachers. Prior to her role at AIR and completing her PhD, Dr. Davis served as a dually licensed, special education and general education teacher.
