Veronica Fiedler, MA, provides technical assistance, coaching, and professional learning focused on Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and special education. She has extensive experience supporting states, districts, and schools in strengthening sustainable systems that improve outcomes for all students, including students with disabilities and students with intensive academic and behavioral needs. Veronica brings deep expertise in data-based decision making, intensive intervention, inclusion, special education evaluation, and evidence-based instructional practices. Prior to joining the American Institutes for Research (AIR), she served for six years as the Specific Learning Disability Specialist for the Colorado Department of Education, where she led statewide initiatives, professional learning, and guidance development related to special education and MTSS. Her career spans more than 25 years in education, including roles as a special education teacher, general education teacher, instructional coach, and state education specialist.
